This academic year at LearnLife we open with skill-building workshops and a community marketplace where learners experiment and trade projects, then move to collaborating externally, including an exciting link with FabLab Barcelona's SCORE project.
We converted our Urban Hub to bring in Fashion, Music and Visual Arts, a space to detox from traditional school and reconnect with curiosity. New experts joined too: Loana on future materials and biofabrication, and Antoine of Domingo Club on open-source coding, electronics and fermentation in design.
I've also been invited by mAkE and the Fab City Foundation onto a makerspaces panel, mapping stakeholders across the EU and Africa toward a shared policy agenda for makers.
