I spent three inspiring weeks in Tallinn with colleagues, delivering a maker track and teens programme for Mindvalley University on behalf of Learnlife Barcelona. We guided young people from across the world through self-discovery, collaborative creation and distributed design ideas on sustainability.
Tallinn, a European Green Capital, wears its climate ambitions openly, from wild garden boxes and insect hotels to a 13km pollinator highway and free public transport. I visited Pohjala tehas, a former rubber factory turned maker hub, took an impromptu glass-flaming workshop with artist Raili Velt, and headed on to Kopli 93, a Fab City Foundation hub for artists and makers.
