On March 27th we held SUSTAIN, our second maker faire, at Akasha Hub Barcelona: a day of workshops and activities exploring circular futures through 3D design, coding, visual arts, carpentry, cooking, music and fashion.
We showed a hot glue gun that spins recycled plastic thread, biodegradable straws, a skateboard art auction, a recycled paper bead workshop, plus a thrift shop, catwalk and visible-mending sessions with clothes donated by Solidanca. We raised over 1,537 euros for the MOSS Foundation's clean water systems in Eswatini.
