We closed the cycle on a high, working with Arrels Foundation in Barcelona, which runs art studios, work projects and housing for people experiencing homelessness. Led by our Visual Arts expert, learners and Arrels clients co-designed a shop front, and the impact on our learners' empathy was clear.
We also hosted SUSTAIN 2023, a public event that welcomed 67 first-time visitors to Learnlife with free biomaterials workshops, seasonal cooking demos and a cookbook, and an up-cycling exhibition. Learners prepared 20 boards for the MOSS Foundation, sent to international artists to design and auction for a water project in Africa.
